Our Philosophy

We acknowledge and strive to provide the following basic needs of pre-school age children:

red heart Love
Love is demonstrated in actions and attitudes – we desire to demonstrate Christian love.

red heart Trust
We will build positive relationships with children necessary to earn their trust.

red heart Acceptance
Children are a gift from God; we accept their individuality.

red heart Independence and freedom
We respect and encourage children in making the best choices.

red heart Security
Policies will be in place to ensure the security and safety of children in our care.

red heart Guidance
Positive guidance will encourage children to make appropriate choices.

red heart A Sense of Accomplishment
Teaching methods will vary so all children will feel a sense of accomplishment.

Girl with heart

It’s all about the children…

Preschoolers are unique and grow through the same stages at different rates. Therefore a variety of approaches will be used to enable children to learn in the way God created them! Preschoolers will be encouraged to learn through:

Their senses
Exploring the world around them with hands-on experiences

Freedom to make choices
Accepting responsibility and learning to solve problems

Bonding with adults and children

Watching others and making connections

Applying important truths, and creatively expressing God-given uniqueness
